We booked this hotel because we were looking for a combination of golf and culture. It was spot on. In our package also the dinner was included. We stayed there for 1 week end of June.
We had room 1. Most rooms are separate from the main building and have a garden, which in our case was very private. All rooms are in design style. In our room there was plenty of clothing cabinets, the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was special, more design then practical, but everything was there. The airco was very good not noisy with good temperature control. The TV was small. In the small garden there were 2 sun beds.
Although the room had large windows the curtains were good light tight. The cleaning of the room was good as well as the towel change.
The swimming pool was huge and clean with plenty of sun beds and a good towel service. The golfcourse was well maintained and not to difficult.
For breakfast and dinner we only had to cross the street. Breakfast was very good.
During our stay they did not change the dinner menu, there was a selection of 5 starters, 6 intermidiate courses and 6 maincourses. The food was excelent, but a menu change would have been appreciated.
There is 1 small disadvantage to this hotel that is the noise of the shooting range nearby and a motor circuit.
If you want to park your car close to your room you have to pay Euro 10 per day. I think this is a good system to keep the cars off the hotel area. There is enough parking space outside the barrier.
There is a large spa but we did not use it.
All in all a fine hotel with lots of facilities, spendid service and friendly staff.
